Watched a super nice and touching show ytd night.
Even tho it took away my precious beauty slp, it was definitely worth it!
This show is about a Dad who is a triad leader.
Yet, becos of his love for his only daughter, his lil princess, he gave up so so many.
The story plot is nice, transition between time period is good, and above all, is detailed.
The details are so fine that its as tho a real story ;(
Never fail to cry at each commercial break.
This is how awesome the show is!
Somehow I find my Dad similar to the character in the show.
From a young, rebelious boy, he has turned into an awesome Dad, a hero in my heart! <3

Sign tmr is the start of last week of sch.
Even tho this means tht I can slp late every night for two months, somehow I feel uneasy.
A's drawing closer day by day.
I tell myself that im not gng to let history repeat.
I WILL NOT GET OVERLY PARANOID AND WORRIED

As for the coming hols, it ll be a balance of revision, spending time with family, chilling with frens and work.

Ytd was my first time bathing in a kinda public place.
Kinda memorable and funny.
The 04 guys were bathing jus beside us, nontheless trust that they are not so despicable to peek.
Heh.

This is just one of the many happening things that took place ytd.
Ytd was such a fun-packed day.
Many activities carried out, many feelings aroused.
I am beginning to love 04, shit.
Will I miss them when I graduate, like how I missed 402 at the start of this year?
I am afraid, I'll.
I told myself at the start of the year tht I am not going to bond so well with my JC mates.
Reason being I need to focus on my studies, and I hate the feeling of parting and saying goodbyes to loved ones.
But as time passes, the commitment and sense of belonging has grown.
I am no longer the individual carefree nonchalant soul in the cls.
Is that a good or bad thing?
I wonder...

Theres this particular person in class.
This particular person....I just cant seem to be able to figure out what he is thinking.
Why cant everyone be honest with their feelings?

Dad is so cute.
He gave me $20 just nw, saying that i did well for promos.
Even though it is just a small sum of money, i feel rly rly happy.
He used to scold me for studying way too hard and neglecting other priorities in life.
So this is like a regconition from him, a regconition that his small daughter has grown.
I hv learnt to balance work, life and family.
Woohoo!

Promos made me understand that reality is cruel, but to compensate for that, God gave us families.

I am going to be the one who get going, when the going gets tough.
I am going to be the one working hard, when working gets hard.

I am not going to procastinate and continue napping for long hours anymore.
I am going to start on my PW OP preparations and strive to be the best OP speaker in class, and across the cohort.
I am so going to get an A for PW.
Just you wait for me my A, here i come! :D

In the past, i had always believe in trying your very best and you ll get what you deserve.
But now, i've come terms with the fact that there are indeed times whereby hard work doesnt absolutely pay off.
Nonetheless, if you have given your very best shot, your 101%, that is enough.
Leave the rest to God, and luck.

This academic year is coming to an end in less than a month's times.
Of cos, i hope that with the release of promos results on 25th, it ll end off this year with a perfect period.
Even if its not the case, i know at the very least i have given my very best.
At least, i have learnt the correct way of learning.
At least, i have regained confidence in my studies.
At least, i have realised that teaching others is in a way teaching yourself, answering your own doubts. (credits to Ms Joy Tan)
At least, im no longer a follower, as in 402'09.

Proud of my own achievements.
Just feeling accomplished, not bragful or anything.
In our lives, we need to constantly reward ourselves with praises.
Because life is not a fairy tale, and it is not always so smooth-sailing.
When distressed, prince charming will not just *poof* appear and grab your hand, take you to some faraway land and live there happily ever after.
So learn to think positively, and take good care of yourself.
Love yourself, before others can love you.

I may not be a linguistic person who can express my emotions very well through the use of words. But that doesnt mean that i dun have my own emotions and feelings.

Very often we bottle up our feelings and put on a fake happy mask is not because we are being superficial and want to portray ourselves as optismistic and cheerful. Its because we are afraid to express our emotions. And why are we afraid to express them? We are afraid that by expressing our emotions, people may interpret it in their own way, and in a way, affecting their judgement of our character, and us, especially when we know our expression may not be what we're trying to put across. This is often the case when we encounter problems with people whom we have just known for a short period of time. We dont want them to leave a bad impression of us without actually knowing the true us. Also if we express our true feelings, it may cause some unnecessary unhappiness and hard feelings. Its so so easy to say to be your true self and follow your heart, but hard to really practise it in reality. How many can actually do it? Few i would say.

Bottling our feelings up for too long may cause us to break down at the slightest thing. It makes us more vulnerable and sensitive. ): Crying in front of a classmate whom you're not particularly close to makes you feel like a loser, a real loser. Then again, when your feelings are bottled up for so long, when your trusted listener haven been really free to lend you a listening ear, breaking down is not something that is within your control anymore.

Life is really tough. I really hope time heals all these emotional scars.

It has been a pretty long while since this blog is deactivated so i doubt anyone will still return to this space and take a look. So i shall pen down some of my personal and inner thoughts here. :)

Many changes have taken place during this period. But what matter is how we embrace the change and make the best out of it, not moaning and groaning over how abrupt the change is, and how good it was like in the past. We all know this. But easier said than done.

Life is really hectic now. Though it seems like we have got lesser subjects to study for as compared to secondary school, but each subject is so much more and detailed now. And the pace we're going at is C.R.A.Z.Y. Totally crazy. Nonetheless, i kinda expected it. What can you expect from a two year pre-u course?

So basically in JC, the routine of preparing for lectures, doing tutorials, revising for small tests, lecture tests is repetitive. And i learnt that in this routine, initiative is the key. Like in many case, the lecturer/tutor would not bother if you actually do your tutorials or if you understand a particular topic. Their task is to finish the syllabus on time, thats it. So if you have got any doubts, you got to take the initiative to clear them personally with your tutor outside lesson time.

In conclusion, learn to be independent learners! No one is responsible for your own learning, except for you yourself!

I knew i would forget to bring along something tdy n guess what? I sure did! First, we went to Sushi Teh for high tea. I must say ppl pls stop wasting ur $$ anymre by gg to Sakae! Its jus so not worth it! Nxt, we went for facial n spa since our initial plan of workout failed cos i stupidly told e ppl at e club tt im 16! D: Nvm, spa, sauna n steam is jus as nice! Wees~ even get to jog cos thrs gym thr! Thn we headed to church! Get to learn alot n always go out of church feeling a better person! N finally dinnered n homed!

first day of sch is great! tts becos i get to see all e ppl whom i missed n wanted to see so badly(: evryone looks kinda same, no drastic chnge of hairstyle. so boring, tts including myself as well. anw, my clsrm is at 6th storey this yr!!!!!!!!!! its lyk so freakingly high man!!!!!!!!!!! i had troubles even climbing to 4th storey last yr n nw you want me to climb 6 storeys?! man, tink i got to skip most of my recess n lunch ): anw, we met ms wasson(!!!!) aft recess tdy. tinking tt we could hitch a free ride in lift w her up, but who knows, ms wasson climbed e stairs instead! oh man... i wont mind climbing if my clsrm is at e staff rm instead xD

movies ytd w carine, cheeliang, kahghim, liling, minjie and shinyi! :D we went to watch twilight at north pt. to e someone who told me tt north pt is nw fabulously nicely decorated, nah it isnt quite haha.

lunched at e jap foodcourt n camwhored abit while waiting for our dear miss lazypig wongliling who is lyke 1.5hrs late? jus whn we were abt to take our first pic, evryone took out their cameras! lols! n its lyk 1,2,3,4,5! 5 cameras man! and we had to pose super long for jus one pose(you know self timer for 5cameras yea) thn we continued t take mre pics since we hv nt met for ages. misses! n we almost get thrown out becos we were too loud. too loud in a shopping centre? its kinda funny. hahas. finally twilight, which turned out to be a comedy, w fatty ard! had my 5th bbq this hols w SGP, n it was e best one so far man! imagine all e work, including starting fire n all was solely done by 6 girls, 6 inexperienced girls somemre(: immense sense of achievement whn e food turned out to be marvellous aft a series of hard work to shop/prepare/marinate by fx n me. jin zhen gu(me), e bacon(fx n me), e mash potato(fx), choc marshmallow... so e lil success we had for e bbq set e atmosphere right for our annual gathering! 6/8 girls invited steadiy turned up three yrs aft we left sch! CANT YOU BELIEVE IT? man, i seriously treasure this 迟来的友情 and i bet e other five felt e same way too, yea girls? despite our hectic schedule, esp our business woman wn(aha!), evryone made an effort to catch up w one another n be sure nt to forget our mass date 4,5 yrs ltr(or isit still 10?) :DDDD and e on-the-sch- reopening-day swim ok!so we eat eat, chat chat, play play n take pictures!

the trip was sure FANTASTIC, and nt to mention, i enjoyed evry single moment

i must say e SEC3 INTEGRATED TRIP 2008 IS FANTASTIC!
all in all, i enjoyed v much with e pandas,bustwo,mrslim(shes nice and i love her to bits),mrchan(hes kaypo, jus lyke his students) and many many more.
im sure i ll miss every single one of you guys up thr. thnks for e sweet memories!
btw, pandas' arranging a kung fu panda movie trip with zixin as e organiser. so interested peeps pls go look for her:}

im back ppl!!!! its been a pretty packed week for me so i only hv time to update nw(: pictures tml.

at m'sia, aunt's house warming party. gosh!! her hse was damn BIG and nice. all my cousins are damn cute lo. it was a rather big gathering(all e aunts and uncles are thr besides 4th aunt). grandmum was thr too. andd e food by uncle was lip-smacking. esp e bbq chicken wing and pudding. rly enjoyable:]]]

bought grandmum and granddad to sentosa. seriously, i tink tt only e beaches and underwater world and luge and skyrider and 4D movies in sentosa are worth it. e rest are just okay-okay. glad tt grandmum and dad did enjoy my tour guiding. aha!

went for e media camp. quite a pleasant experience. to wesley and james(if you guys ever happen to come across my blog and see this): dont b disheartened okay! we still hv e DV xiao yuan. &i believe in ur skills and profession. we can do it!!!

btw, i saw Kai on my way back hme today. as i was rly tired and my legs were reluctant to move on, i did nt alight at wdlands bt rather trained all way to yew tee. thn whn i alighted n waiting for e train to go back to wdlands, i saw a familiar figure waving at me. so looong nv see him ler. almost couldnt recognise him. so chatted with him and surprised to know tt this big and burly guy played violin! given his size, he shuld be playing cello lo. hees..

last jap lesson for this term.. fatty and i were lyke soo happy. no need to see tan sensei and stupid mouse agn! at least for one month!!:] so during e lesson we were lyke learning this format used for advising ppl. and theres a conversation between a guy and a girl(fake characters in pp tt we used as a practice for conversation). the guy fell sick due to the rain(use passive type3) and e girl, by right, shuld advise him on wad to do. so theres this funny stnicks girl in our cls. sensei asked her to advise e sick guy and
she said:he should sleep
